  1. Wrong way round. That is for your foreign wife or child to piggy back on to your own DTV visa.
  2. I think, as mentioned above, you need to maintain the financial requirement for the existing retirement extension until you apply for the new marriage extension. So you will need to get is back up to 800k for 2 months prior. Presumably you kept it at 800k for 3 months then never less than 400k until now?
  3. OP said his non-O expires next month, probably meant his extension but wasn't clear. Hence the question.
  4. Why is your limit £1000? Limit where, your bank in the UK? Wise can send the whole lot in one go, you'll pay £100 or so in fees on THB800k but overall still probably the cheapest and easiest way to do it.
  5. But you're here now right? Somebody got a bit over cautious in AA, but in the end nothing happened. And as mentioned nothing to do with the requirements to obtain a DTV.
  6. Single entry visa is USD30. Additional backhander fees may apply.
  7. They visa run people will know, they won't take you if they can't bring you back.
  8. "To extend my non-O visa for 90 days", you mean a 90 day report? You should have had the hotel give you a copy of the TM30 entry they made, not a "contract".
  9. Went to Da Nang in June. Really enjoyed a few days there, nice beach, nice beach bars, enough sights to keep occupied in the daytime (also have no idea about shopping, not my thing at all). Good to great food and places to drink. Nice hotels. Hoi An is really attractive and great for a day/evening trip from Da Nang, but was utterly rammed with tourists (see pic) on a regular weekday, but I'd go again for the place itself.
  10. Sounds like you used the METV as it is intended to be used. Can't imagine any issue with another short exempt stay, especially holding your onward ticket to the UK. Airline may well want to see that ticket when checking in in PP.
  11. That email just parrots the information on the FCO website. If you go there and click on the link about the 60 day multi it just takes you to the Thai Embassy website for tourist visas. Old information, not updated.
  12. It is not listed as required on the e-visa website. Nor is accommodation booking. Both travel booking and accommodation are listed for tourist visa applications. Not to say that individual embassies wont have their own ideas.
  13. Alcohol not mentioned, nor in the Chang ad on the other side of the street. There is a good reason why all the beer companies also sell this....
  14. Obviously. Whilst it doesn't hurt anyone, provides the site with a few clicks and gives an opportunity for discussion of elements of the story, I fail to understand why people ask questions back to the OP about the imaginary tale.
  15. Of course it is quite possible that a "local decree" has been made. Whilst it may go against the actual law/rules it is quite possible, I've experienced this myself. Best way is to pop out and see if the pubs are open, or relent and sh*g the wife instead.
  16. From the descriptiion (translated)..... Color temperature Warm white (2700-3500K)

  18. There is one good way to find out, and it is not asking on here.
  19. I doubt that the WiFi is causing this. I connected on my PC via not very fast WiFi and on my phone on 5G data. Both the connections to the site were instant, as were the rejections with the VPN switched off.
  20. As I mentioned earlier in the other (closed) thread, I could access one of those sites easily on my PC. I just tried it again on my phone, first with no VPN, access denied, then with Nord VPN (location Melbourne) and went straight in. Reckon you need a new VPN.
