  1. You need 400k baht or proof of 40k baht income. You only need one of the 2. Not sure where they 20k baht you mentioned came from or what form you are looking at. You only need a competed TM7 extension application form to apply. Fillable TM7 form.pdf There are a couple of other forms for the overstay rules and the conditions of a permit to stay. The fees for a extension of stay application is 1900 baht. Here is my general list of required documents and etc. Marriage Extension Requirements 2.pdf
  2. You apply for the 30 day extension at IT Square Laksi. Location info is at the bottom of this webpage. https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/courses/muangthongthani-will_be-closed/
  3. No Immigration at a airport could not issue a new non-ox visa. That might be possible but they would only cancel his current stay from his non-ox visa he got which require him to leave the country. Then when he entered the country immigration might stamp him in using the non-ox visa.
  4. It would be easier to open the account if you entered with a tourist visa. Dependent upon where your are located getting a certificate of residence at immigration that would make it easier or a letter from your embassy to prove your address.
  5. Immigration does not cancel visas. The only way to cancel his visa would be to apply for a new passport while outside the country and use it to enter the country. Having a valid non-ox visa would not prevent from withdrawing the money he has a a bank.
  6. To qualify for permanent residency you must be a working here with a work permit and paying taxes for 3 years to apply. The minimum salary is 80k baht to apply for it. Info can be found here on the immigration website here: https://www.immigration.go.th/en/?page_id=1744 Information can also be found in this long ongoing topic. Camerata's Guide to Permanent Residence
  7. A visa on arrival is only available for those from about 18 countries after paying a 2000 baht fee for it. There is no fee for a visa exempt entry.
  8. Are you asking about a 15 day visa on arrival or a visa exempt entry that is for 45 days now? It should not be a problem to get a new entry with a 2 day overstay.
  9. The info on the immigration website is out of date. The income they mention on that website is only if working here with a work permit and paying Thai tax for you income. The info I posted came from m a immigration order. You can download it here. Amendment to police order 138/2557 Revising clauses 2.18 and 2.22 to include options for proof of income
  10. If you change your address to Chiang Mai at immigration there it should not be a problem to do you 90 day report online.
  11. Immigration normally does not ask for a ticket out and they will know about the change to 45 days. I would worry more about the airline not knowing about it.
  12. I think the browser you used saved your login info. I allowed Chrome to remember mine the first time I logged in. Just tried it on Edge and it does not show my login info when opening the site.
  13. Are you using the mobile app or the new online report site. The new online reporting system does not save your password or email address. Link for new site that is better than the mobile app IMO. https://tm47.immigration.go.th/tm47/#/login You need to apply to use it but it only takes a few minutes to do it after getting an email with your password in it.
  14. The first line in the quoted info from the some immigration website states this. "The alien husband must have no less than ฿400,000 in a bank account" That seems to be fairly clear that the funds must be in the husband name only. Same for the income option. If not legally working here and paying taxes you must show monthly transfers from abroad since the US embassy has not done a proof of income document since December of 2019. This from a immigration order issued in December of 2018 allowing for monthly transfers.
  15. A post containing a link to Pattaya Mail has been removed that is not allowed. Forum Rule
  16. You can apply for a multiple entry non-o visa with a foreign marriage certificate. If not in English it will need to be translated to Thai. The consulate in Savannakhet Laos will issue the visa.
  17. No problem when I did my online 90 day report. Just one hour for approval. Just logged in to the site without a problem. Same password since early December when the site became available. Try logging in again and be sure you enter the password correctly.
  18. Easy to get a re-entry permit at either airport in Bangkok. I think you should get a re-entry permit since you do not appear to be sure what you will be done. Easier to get a re-entry permit than starting all over again if you enter visa exempt that now allows a 45 day stay. To start all over again means having to get a new non-o visa (2000 baht). And then the one year extension.
  19. You have to keep the 800k baht in the bank for 3 months from the day you apply for the extension and then you can lower it to 400k baht.
  20. You must have 800k baht in a Thai bank on the day you apply for the non-o visa that will allow a 90 day stay. Requirements are here: https://www.immigration.go.th/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/9.FOR-RETIREMENT-PURPOSES-50-YEARS-OLD-NON-O.pdf
  21. It would be a problem if the agent fixes the 800k baht in the bank requirment. When applying for the next extension yourself you would not have proof the 800k baht was in the bank for 2 months before the extension was applied and the then for 3 months after or the 400k baht after that until it was topped up again to 800k baht.
  22. At the airport it does not take very long to get the re-entry permit. I depends upon how busy they are. Not sure how long it takes Chaeng Wattana immigration. You can only get one re-entry permit at a time. A multiple re-entry permit would be valid to the day current extension ends. If there is any chance you would need another one before then a multiple re-entry permit would be good.
  23. The info posted is for a non-o visa application not a extension of stay. Not sure if Pattaya will require one.
  24. The requiements are here. https://www.immigration.go.th/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/9.FOR-RETIREMENT-PURPOSES-50-YEARS-OLD-NON-O.pdf
  25. I assume you are not fully vaccinated since a test is not needed if have a certificate for it.
