Non Immigrant OA Visa - Health Insurance
ubonjoe replied to eaunaturelH3's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
False Read this from the immigration website. https://www.immigration.go.th/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/9.FOR-RETIREMENT-PURPOSES-50-YEARS-OLD-NON-O.pdf -
To use both passports they have to be issued by the same country. If you entered the country with the passport you used to enter the country where you apply for the non-o visa that could be done. There is no requirement for you to use a passport from the same country that you used when you registered your marriage to apply for a non-o visa or extension of stay based upon marriage.

Retirement to marriage extension, problems?
ubonjoe replied to proton's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
If you have proof you changed your name and have the proof translated to Thai and certified by the Department of Consular Affairs of the MFA it should be accepted. You also may be able to the have your name changed on the Kor Ror 2 marriage registry at a Amphoe.- 1 reply

After the 30th you will be on a overstay and on the 5th it will be 5 day at 500 baht a day. Some offices have a allowed a person to apply for the extension with a short overstay when they were short on the required 2 months. I suggest you go to immigration again and ask if the will let you apply with a overstay. You might be able to find an agent that has contacts with immigration where are applying and arrange it for not a lot of money.

90 Day Reporting
ubonjoe replied to pattaya1234was's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Just ignore the 90 day reporting notice from the online site. Other have gotten the notice after entering the country. You next report is due 90 days from the day you entered the country. Change your arrival date on the online report site when you do it. -
Visa 30 Day Extension
ubonjoe replied to WayneFarrell's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You really don't need a agent. Do you have a Thai bank account with 800k baht in it. Requirements for the non-o visa are here. https://www.immigration.go.th/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/9.FOR-RETIREMENT-PURPOSES-50-YEARS-OLD-NON-O.pdf -
I am certain that will not work. When you leave Thailand you will use your UK passport to get a departure stamp. The on the Lao side they will look for the Thai departure stamp and stamp you into Laos with the UK passport. When you leave Laos you will get a departure stamp in your UK passport. Then Thai immigration will look for the Laos departure stamp and that will be in your UK passport.

Re-entry permit or not?
ubonjoe replied to Confuscious's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
They don't stamp your re-entry permit when you enter the country unless it is single re-entry permit and they would of stamped it as used. If you didn't have a re-entry permit you would of lost your extension of stay and they would of stamped you into the country as visa exempt. -
Re-entry permit or not?
ubonjoe replied to Confuscious's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
The re-entry permit desk is in immigration zone 2. If going through fast track in zone 1 you can tell immigration you need a re-entry permit and they will direct you to the re-entry permit desk. -
