Gang Attacks Man at Pattaya Apartments, Resulting in Fatality
Denim replied to Georgealbert's topic in Pattaya News
It would make a change to read that when someone calls for violent back up , the potential victim blows a whistle and from the shadows their own back up , three times in number , emerges and gives the new arrivals a thorough drubbing. Instant Karma -
Any Alternative Music bars/venues in Bangkok?
Denim replied to Kevin_Beethoven's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
I must have been lucky then. Some 40 years ago I was there and checked into a dump called the White House Hotel. Nearby I found a Cafe serving breakfast. Toast , ham eggs etc. The waitress wanted to practice her English. Took me out in the evening after work to show me some MTV places she enjoyed. I ended up moving in with her a week later. In the meantime I was also befriended by two female students who also showed me around. All in all I found the local women refreshingly open and honest and all insisted on American shares for everything. Even bought me gifts ! As for music, nice list but check out some new Indy stuff. A lot out there. YouTube Solarium by The Groovy Nobody. Others of note , Skinshape , common saints , psychedelic octopus. Far Caspian....too many to list. And yes, Saxophone club is good. Been there forever. -

Watch: Bravery in Action, Trainee Officers Capture Rapist in Birmingham
Denim replied to Social Media's topic in World News
These people are like square pegs in round holes in European society. Coming from places where women are oppressed and rarely seen out alone in public , their cultural upbringing and sexual suppression gets the better of them and its all just too much temptation. Well, this is one Sultan that won't be swinging for five years. Great job by the two officers. This is what the police should be doing , catching criminals not knocking on peoples doors mob handed over some trivial hate speach on social media. -
UK Pensioners in Thailand Face New Scrutiny Over Pension Fraud
Denim replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
IMO , there is still a lack of clarity about a certain DWP requirements. Suppose youlive in the UK and maintain a UK address. However , you decide to take a late Gap year out to go traveling with a view to finding an overseas place to retire to. During your travels the annual pension rise occurs but as you have been traveling for 7 months you are not entiotled to it. In addition, when you left you were told you have to report any change of address you make. So, are you supposed to telephone the DWP every time you check in to a new hotel in a new country ??? When you return to the UK does your pension go up to what it would have been before you left ? The whole thing sounds like a badly thought out can of worms . The UK government should be glad retirees choose to live overseas in a cheaper country. If they were all obliged to return to the UK because without annual pension rises they can't survive , they would then not only get the full pension on their return but many would get other benefits to boot , disability benefit , housing benefit , attendance allowance etc -
In our second home we went for granite kitchen tops. What we found is the greyish one we chose hid the dirt on the surface very well because of the speckled pattern which camoflaged it Small bits of food waste were almost invisible unless you crouched down and got an eye level view across the edge. Even after wiping had to do this to make sure the surface was clean. Next house went back to regular tiles for this reason.

OK , but given that for both sides there can only be one of three possible outcomes , win , lose or stalemate , which side would you prefer to win and why ?

More in the UK tabloids : https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14225635/British-woman-arrested-breaking-glass-table-attempting-sex-hotel-lobby-fighting-police-spends-Christmas-Day-Thai-prison-cell.html Pattaya on the east coast of Thailand is a two-hour drive from the main airport serving the capital Bangkok. It is one of the country's most popular tourist destinations alongside the capital and Phuket in the south. It is also the most debauched - with bars and massage parlours lining most roads in the city and hundreds of thousands of young women working in the sex trade. Thailand's role in aiding the United States in the second Indochina War against Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia led to the region growing into a sex tourism destination for American GIs on rest and relaxation breaks. Well live and learn eh. I bet there are not many of us who knew this.

You should take him to one of those no hands restaurants ( if they still exist ) . You both might enjoy it. I heard the desserts are pretty good. -

Always chicken but differently prepared. Sometimes they get a fried chicken carcase which the vender puts through a grinder. This is mixed with dry dog food and rice to bulk it out. But too much fried food not good so they mostly get chicken carcases ( 21/ kilo ) from Big C which I boil to soften and cook then finely chop with a meat clever. They hang around trying to catch bits that fly off the chopping board. If I can't be bothered to do that I buy minced chicken carcase and cook it in a large pan with a little salt and water to make a gravy with it. All this is always mixed with rice and dog food. If I see chicken or pork livers on reduction I get these, chop up and mix with the carcase for a different flavor. About once a fortnight I'll throw in a large tin of tuna or sardines for different flavor plus the fatty oils are good for their skin. If I see any pork or frankfurturs on reduction they also get these. Feed twice a day , morning and evening but never to excess. There are 4 of them , all previously soi dogs. Now its cold in the evenings we throw 4 old towels down on the balcony and put a mosquito coil in the middle. They like to huddle around this for a bite free night. When it is cold I take them on a 2 mile walk along a shady creek. They love this but in hot season not possible. -
