Jim Tripper - Not sure how much is left but with all that travel and doing this and that - it doesn't sound like the road to financial independence... How much are all those lattes? Worked in a casino and cannot know that it is a 100% road to losses? How can it end for such an unaware person? And why does he think he is still young? Is it the same guy in the other YouTube videos? I feel sorry for him but it seems between construction and casino work, he had plenty of opportunities. What words could help him?

Actually, I mostly hang with Thai people and they don't talk politics - even my farang friends don't talk much about politics...

Lefties are in their right mind... my dad was a lefty, I learned a lot about business from him - brilliant guy.

you get to menopause yet? My wife was so even tempered that I never knew if/when she was having her period.. and then came menopause... 50% of the time I didn't know who she was... then she contracted an incurable disease - ups and downs but we battled the worst together and after a recent slide to the edge, with me by her side every minute for months, she is doing much better and has been coping with some things that might draw another asunder... the disease is still there, but I believe she is 90% in remission.

I have a lovely wife of 24 years here, but I have never met anyone w/a wife who makes EVERY day a better day - that is an idyll that does not exist and is not possible... my wife is great for me, but she is not perfect. She has moods and had menopause and wants that sometimes went beyond anyone's capacity to fulfill... she is human. Have you ever been in a long term relationship?

who wants to be sick anywhere? That said, i just had a follow-up appointment where we changed meds - only a few minutes with the Doctor - 300 baht... the new meds were a bit overpriced but that seems to be the system... And on the other hand - the lights were on and bright, plenty of nurses and janitors keeping the place sparkling clean and administrative staff and guards outside and splashy machinery if you need it and... the doctor has to make a living too... right?

I never have my passport with me, but my driver's license is accepted easily... and for every transaction... so what? I never mind showing them my ID - as you say, no big deal.
