An immigrant is happy to be accepted somewhere, an expat can afford to live anywhere (OK maybe not anywhere exactly, but you get the general idea). . -

Hattoyai Izakaya (Phone: 0971935282) (7.00626, 100.486915) On Krajang Uthit Road, a single storey Japanese style wooden building with a courtyard. Options for indoor, outdoor seating or private rooms. We opted to sit inside where there was live music. It was a Sunday evening so not very busy and quite quiet, music was Thai popular with singer accompanied by acoustic guitar, so pleasantly unobtrusive. Menu is fairly extensive, with options for cook at the table style or small plates, notable no pork in this restaurant. Standard Izakaya fare plus some spicy Thai small plate options like papaya salads. We had a selection of sashimi, beef & chicken Teriyaki and some gyoza. Service was attentive and prompt, food was good, we thought generally better than other Izakaya we've tried. The weird purple lighting isn't great as it makes it hard to read the menu or see your food. Plenty of drink options, selection of Japanese beers with Asahi on draft, Hoegardens and Thai beers also available, plus Sake and Japanese whisky. Overall a pleasant evening, cost for 3 people was under Bht2,000.

Worse, they were there explaining the symbolism of the Thai national flag. The red stripes represent Thailand’s blood spilt to maintain independence The white stands for purity and Buddhism The blue symbolises the Thai monarchy Where exactly does a Muslim child fit into there? -

But it's not gin as such is it, rather it's simply juniper water.

Not uncommon, on one occasion the seller didn't even bother to repack, just put the delivery label over the incoming label from China. Lazada website had him 'packing' for a week. I pay as much attention now to the Ship on Time score as I do the Seller Rating. .

My Krungsri account is in Bangkok. The only issues I've encountered, is when my passbook was full and changing the term on a Timed Deposit account. Krungsri here in Hat Yai could only staple in additional data they couldn't, for whatever reason, issue me with a new passbook. But ATM card renewal - no problem, immigration letter and statement - no problem.

I gave you a thumbs up too.

It's an internet forum, it's not my daily life, I can take it or leave it. I find it amusing rather than annoying, clearly it's the other person's skin I've got under, otherwise they wouldn't be doing it.
