BANGKOK: -- Narcotics Suppression Bureau police officers on Thursday morning arrested four men who allegedly sold marijuana online and mailed the illicit drugs in plastic sealed packages to prevent police detection.

Brothers Mak Watcharakiatsopon, 24, and Saknarin Watcharakiatsopon, 27, were nabbed first along with 15.7 kilograms of marijuana while their alleged accomplices Adisak Misakul and Parinya Tacharoenmuang, both 19, were later apprehended along with 1,052 yaba pills, a pistol and two bullets.

NSB 4 deputy superintendent Pol Lt-Colonel Thitisan Uthanapol said the arrest was made a months-long police probe into a youth gang allegedly dealing drugs via a social network.

He said Mak and Saknarin were arrested while bringing 10 kilograms of marijuana in parcels to Bangkok’s Sai Mai Post Office. A subsequent search at their home in Pathum Thani’s Lam Lukka district found another 5.7 kilograms of marijuana.

Adisak and Parinya were arrested at a house in Bangkok’s Klong Sam Wa district.

Should have mailed them out from the local police station and paid 20% of profits.
