Opinion Casinos in Thailand Unlikely to Boost Tourism
Just build them in a remote far place, an airport just for Chinese flights. They will be the ones using it for the obvious reasons. -

What are people paying for rent in Bangkok ?
I think that's still a bit steep, our condo was close to everything and was 45 sq meters, really modern, 11000 per month. Just over the other side of the river is a good bet, no tourists but still easy access to the old and new town. -

Report Pattaya Hotpot Brawl Sends Three to Hospital in Dinner Fight Drama
Yes, and it ain’t pretty. Many of the older short time rooms have dodgy plumbing that goes straight into the drains and into the sea. And many of the illegal buildings on the west side of walking street. While it is soapy much of the sperm, urine and fecaes gets washed into the sea creating a unique blend of those three ingredients with flavors from all around the globe creating an international taste that is unique to Pattaya. -

Updates and events in the War in Ukraine 2025
Do you know why the Chinese leader came to Moscow? He came to show support for the results of World War II. If you are against the results of World War II, then you are for World War III - during which people in military uniforms will most likely knock on your door. Now it is far time to remember whose Ukraine is based on the results of World War II. Z guys enjoy reminding it every 9th of May. -

Skype to be shutdown in May
Someone would have to do some fancy 'splaining why they'd be losing money holding onto unused Skype credits. That's money they can use to fund other operations and make a return on OPM. Not to mention all that they'd get to keep when their users die off and/forget they even had money on account. As far as the expense of keeping Skype alive while they're winding it down, they get money every time I use Skype. They could scale back the bandwidth and the number of servers and support staff to match the usage. Those costs go down as usage dwindles. If Microsoft had wanted to maintain goodwill among their user base, they could have given us all Teams accounts and either spun Skype off and kept it going as a division of MS, or sold Skype to a 3rd party. Instead, they bought a competitor and killed it off. I think that's fodder for an anti-trust lawsuit.
