1:  How far in advance of the current extension expiry date can you renew your extension, is it 30 or 45 days ?

 

2: In the first extension renewal where you use bank savings (as against income proof previously) is the seasoning period 90 or 60 days ?

1: Up to 45 days in advance.

2: For the FIRST extension it's 60 days, but for later extensions (even if earlier ones were based on income) I would expect it to be 90 days.

 

Incidentally, rather than 60 or 90 days I think it's two or three calendar months - not 100% sure, though.

My wife and I renewed our retirement visas in early May of this year about 40 days ahead of our June 14th due date.
