President Park Apartments

I found their website while looking for a place to stay when I come to Thailand. The pictures of the place look really nice.

Unforunately I found a site that gave the place some bad reviews (people that have stayed there). If anyone has stayed there or knows much about it, would you recommend or not?

Thanks,

Jamie

President Park has more than one location in BKK so which one were you thinking about staying at? I have stayed at President Park before. I stayed at the one down the street from the Phrom Pong Skytrain station. Around Soi 24 I think? Anyway, the place looked a lot better in the pictures than it did for real but that isn't to say it was bad. It's was a nice enough place but it's just a little old and you can see the age in it. Overall I was happy with my stay there. The porters that work downstairs were a huge help to me going above and beyond helping me locate a large box that I needed for the flight home. I would stay there again.

Yes, I believe that is the same place that I was looking at. The pictures look great, but the reviews I read were less than spectacular, though if you said it was not too bad, perhaps I'll keep it in mind. Thanks.

President Park on Soi 24 has consists of several buildings in the immediate vicinity. There are several other "President" service apt, like President Solitaire on Soi 11 (which is probably a better choice).

We stayed in President Park about 5 years ago for 4 months. The neighborhood is much better now, but back then there was not much around and the construction for Davis Hotel across the street was in full swing. It is still too far down Soi 24 from Sukhumvit to be convenient to BTS. The attitude of the staff really stunk back then, I would think the management would have fixed that by now.

The President Park has a tuk tuk service that will drive you to Sukhumvit and the skytrain station whenever you want.

we were shown an apartment here whilst flat-searching. To be frank, we felt it was a little like an enclosed world with its own supermarket, dentist, restaurant etc. perhaps you'd never leave?! And the apartment was dingy.

But the location isn't bad - if that tuk tuk service is on. You've also got good (though a little pricey) restaurants nearby, and Carrefour/Tesco Lotus down the road!

Its a good location, with decent priced restaurants nearby. You want to eat street food every day, you arent gonna be paying president park prices!

Unfortunately, tuk tuk or not in rush hour it can take 2 hours to get from PP to the BTS by tuk tuk or taxi, whatever. But, i guess this is the same all over.

The rooms themselves do look a little tired (ive been in three, includin i guess what you would call a penthouse). But bearing this in mind, i have no idea of what is being payed for rental there.
