October 2, 20178 yr The requirements for entry/refused entry seem to change with the wind, I've given up even bothering to try...its not as though you're missing anything that could be seen at any other beach on this side of the gulf of Thailand. Reminds me of the old shop signs "please dont ask for credit as refusal often offends" getting refused entry to a beach certainly offends me.
October 2, 20178 yr i am not a specialist of this side of the gulf of Thailand but the times I have been there I have found the water to be the cleanest I have seen in the region. It has been two years I have not visited though. The bus transport is a bit of a rip-off/hassle/scam but for an afternoon at the beach i personnally think it's worth it. What are the other options for such a clean beach in the region ? Koh Samet : far, dirty in some parts, etc... Koh Larn : chinese land Koh chang is far and don't brag about Phuket, Koh Samui and Krabi please. Phuket full of french thugs, Samui full of Jelly Fish, Krabi full of potential terrorist attack. I think this beach is ok despite this bus hassle, the amounnt of people and the crappy restaurant where I was sick. At least water is clean.

Thanks for your help If you go from Monday to Friday and is not too busy you can go to the beach directly with your car. Is not about farang or Thai, is about how many people go that day. Weekend and holiday is very busy so you have to go with the bus
