Overflowing Chee river causes havoc to many northeastern provinces

Heavy rain continues to cause havoc to many northeastern provinces along the Chee river after it overflows and submerges farmlands and houses.

 

A 200-metre section of the soil embankment built to prevent the river from overflowing banks also collapsed yesterday in Tambon Laharn of Chaturat district, Chaiyaphum province.

 

The collapse of the embankment caused the overflowing water to floodfarmlands, schools, temples, local government offices and houses in Chatuchak and connected Nern Santa districts.
