A homeless man was found dead on a roadside in Khon Kaen’s downtown area on Wednesday afternoon, police said.

The Muang Khon Kaen police station was alerted at 1pm that a man, who appeared to be 40-45 years old, was found lying dead beside his tricycle on the side of Ammart road in Muang district.

The man had Bt100 in cash and was not carrying an identification card.

Police believe the man died of heart attack hours before his body was found, as an empty bottle of cheap white whisky was found nearby and Khon Kaen experienced a sudden drop of temperature on Tuesday night due to heavy rains

Out of respect for the poor guy, does this really warrant the opening of a new thread??

I think not.

RIP

Very sad and unfair. RIP to the poor chap.

Funny thing about alcohol. Requires more energy to metabolize than it emits. ie drinking alcohol lowers body temperature, hence dead drunks in winter. Bright side. He didn't suffer.
