The world of Thai social media was in uproar after a video was posted on Facebook that showed a woman ejected from a Royal Funeral occasion in Los Angeles who was wearing a floral jacket.

The woman from San Diego - later identified as the "President of the Asian Heritage Society" - could speak Thai well.

People online were wondering if in fact she was Thai and had realized the inappropriateness of her dress.

While dressed in black with a black hat her jacket was trimmed in bright colored flowers.

The video showed her being barred from the occasion as tempers started to flare.

She inflamed the gathering by insisting in Thai that this was America and her individual rights were being violated.

The security man explained what she was wearing was not illegal but was not appropriate for the occasion.

She appeared to be with an American man who asked everyone to "relax".

But as the woman started to film Thais at the gathering got increasingly angry as she was heckled and driven off the premises with angry words ringing in her ears.

Tnews later reported that the woman's name is Rosalyn Carmen whose Facebook profile said she was single and living in San Diego.

It said she was the "President of the Asian Heritage Society".

Tnews showed posts of mostly Thai people who went on her wall to complain at her behavior.
