Community and social media effort locates Krabi man missing for two days

Naew Na reported on a community and social media effort to locate a man suffering from mental health problems who had been missing from his Krabi home for two days.

 

Father Somchai Thongsamrit, 46, thanked everybody for their efforts in locating his son Wiraphon, 23, who had gone missing earlier in the week.

 

Local authorities joined forces with the "Than Khao Krabi" page on social media to post pictures and pleas for assistance.

 

A local man found someone he suspected was Wiraphon walking along the Krabi to Klong Thom Road and when a picture was sent it was confirmed that the search was over.

 

Naew Na reported in their headline that Thais will never dessert Thais in their hour of need.
