The temperature atop Doi Inthanon, Thailand’s highest mountain, plunged further on Wednesday morning to a chilly 5 degrees Celsius.

That was down from 6 degrees on Tuesday morning.

Wednesday morning’s temperature at the popular Kiew Mae Pan outlook high on the mountain’s slope was 6 degrees.

“If the weather continues like this, we’ll see frozen dew in the mornings soon,” said Doi Inthanon National Park director Rung Hiranwong.

Wednesday was also opening day for the scenic nature trails leading to Kiew Mae Pan. Visitors were waiting since 5am to start trekking.

So much for at least 40 years of Gore Bull Warming in tropical Thailand..    Meanwhile, here in southern Canada close to Niagara Falls... it's already so cool that we are missing our summer heat..   :)

Can't wait to return to Thailand and Cambodia.  I miss the heat...
