MBP - need new screen

Featured Replies

Anyone know where to get this done at a reasonable price either Pattaya or BKK.

Apple wanted 25K, muppets......i'd rather buy a new machine than pay that.

Thanks.

I've had a couple of screens before, one i bought had three pixels missing the other from local guy......think one under 2000 the other certainly under 3000 maybe 2.

I was going to offer to check as I'm going to pick up something at my small guy today, but it's CM

Not sure the age or issue of your MBP,  but Apple has extended the warranty on the anti-reflective coating to 4 years from original date of purchase.

This is correct, I bought a second hand Macbook Pro mid 2014 at a good price due to anti reflective coating slightly peeling , took it to The Apple Store in Tokyo and 2 hours later it had a new Top end, ( They replace the lid as well as the screen. ) free of charge.
