Meet & Greet @ Swampy (Departure)

Featured Replies

Due to a mess-up, looks like my out-going flight from BKK - DOH will be economy (ho hum) - rest of the flights are Business so no big deal.

My issue now is that I want Exit Row seats on the out-going flight, but I can't change / choose exit row unless I go to a physical check-in counter at Swampy.

I read on a forum (could be bull) that if I use the meet & greet service, I can skip the check-in queue, meaning that if i'm there early, I would be first to check-in and therefore could change to exit row seats (if they haven't already been nabbed)

Just need it for the BKK-DOH flight, i'm sorted after that.

Plus other benefits such as priority immigration (again won't have a fast pass as it'll be economy) and lounge access (so can kill time if i'm there early) - has to be worth the approx. 1000 - 1500 THB per person?

Exit row seats are generally held in the system until the flight opens, and can be released by the flight controller (usually a quick call from the check in staff once you request this)

Suggest you just get to the airport VERY early, more than 3 hours before the flight - and front up to the business class counter (as you said the remainder of your flights are Biz, even though your outbound first sector is Y)

Meet and Greet/Fast Track for departures won't help - save your money and just front up early

Hope this helps
