For those who want to come to Penang Thai Consulate apply their visa please take note! They have changed their working hour from 9am to 11am only and collect on next day 2pm to 3pm. And also limit 200 people per day! So please come early as possible! Thanks!

That same notice was posted last month. It also says they are limiting applications to 200 a day,

I did this last month with my son as he is turning 14. We drove over the border. On arrival in Penang on a sunday afternoon i talked to a couple of pushy agents that asked all the normal stuff . I dropped off my paperwork around 7pm sunday and did not have to go back until 2.30pm on.the tuesday afternoon. At collection time about 100 passports turned up, and bike messengers collecting them for the brookers.  i found out that he was one of the Only two agents that pre books the que with the consultant . So very helpful..i would recommend him.

Good news! At Thai Consulate Penang, actually they have given more than two hundred a day. So just make sure you don't come late!
