I will need transportation from Samui (Lipa Noi Pier)

To chaweng . Will taxis be available at this hour or songtao ?

any idea of cost is there a small town at this Pier or just a pier

There will always be some form of transport to meet the ferry.

If only taxi, make friends on the boat with anyone else going to Chaweng so you can share the ludicrous price quoted by the taxi driver.

Will likely be more than you paid for your flight. Expect 1000 baht.

 

But happily for you, there are shared minibuses.

There is a small village outside the pier area, restaurants, resorts, 7-11.

Still best option is minibus be raja ferry.
