Good endocrinologist In Chiang Mai

Looking for a good endocrinologist in Chiang Mai for my GF.  We have gone to Chiang Mai RAM and saw one there but my family doctor totally disagrees with this doctor and thinks I should find a second opinion.  I trust my family doctor a lot and

she has been right on more than one occasion when the first specialist was wrong.  So we are going to look for the second opinion and one that can speak half decent English would certainly help me.  I can talk half decent in Thai but when it comes to medical terms and so forth my skill level is not that strong and in turn my gf couldn't explain it very well medical terms wise in English

Why doesn't your family doctor give you recommendations for the endo doctor?  Did you ask her?

I sent her a follow up email today asking for just that, but thought I ask here too

no it was a male doctor, he was quite young, not that makes any difference to skill level

Dr Ampica has hours at Sriphat, she's one of the best-regarded endocrinologists in the North. I can confirm that her knowledge and thinking on diabetes is entirely modern and up to date.

Yes, it's right next door to the large District Hospital, Mahraj/Suandok.

Of course, great idea, sort out the shit and you will find some useful support here, perhaps not focused on your specific need as your doctor could but what the hell, life is a crap shoot.

unfortunately Dr Ampica will not see new patients anymore
