Most people if they feel cold would put an extra blanket on the bed or slipped on a shirt.. I do when it gets chilly in the winter  BUT it is not winter yet.

Also was he still alive when she left the house ( even less time for rigor mortis  to set in )

Why is he laying across the bed and not covered ? Not a normal sleeping position

They met in Pattaya which is well known for Farang deaths  normally suicide according to the police. Why spoil their track record and come up with this ridiculous statement of him dying from the cold ? People would not have batted an eyelid if the police said death by Viagra or suicide, which is the usual snap judgment by the police

This site at first left me puzzled. Why was everyone stopping? To look at the frost on the side of the road in northern Thailand. And asking me if it got cold like this in America...

Seriously now .... Why is it soooooo difficult, next to impossible, to do a thorough investigation.  The "suicide" excuse must have run it's course. This was none of the above.  Unbelievable.  RIP sir.

Seriously? I know geographical and political facts elude most Thais, so Porn the somtum seller and Somchai the tuk-tuk driver might actually believe that BS, but who else will? What's next; a polar bear freezing to death in Thailand cause it's only 22 degrees Celsius?

Of course the girl friend, conveniently, was out, couple of hours, shopping.

So out between 2 -6 hours, seen the onset of rigor mortis.

The dying of cold, of course, and tweaking proof around that statement, is quite, ehhh, easy?

Sigh - if you look at the ONB source report I think they have gone a little OTT on the pictures also the blurring is fairly pointless in some of them!

Maybe it was keeping the body in the freezer before laying it out on the bed that has confused the cops.

Well you got to hand it to the RTP this time a Norwegian has died here due to the cold.:cheesy:

Maybe they should shut up, get an autopsy done then comment.

Strange it happened when the gf was at the market.

And what about the money to the girl and Father ?????

There are times when the RTP outdo themselves with completely stupid statement , said a Police officer. Just shows by the remark that any knowledge of life outside Thailand was never learnt or possibly never taught .

The comment out of the mouths of babes springs to mind

It saddens me that we are often supposedly looked after by these upright intelligent people wearing a Police Uniform whose decisions may or may not affect me.

But this is not the first time the police have come up with this explanation,

quite a few years ago,it was reported that 2 Nordic men, either from

Norway or Sweden ,had been found on the floor of their rented house.

in Mae Jo, Chiang Mai, the police said they died of Hypothermia,at the

time i wondered if the police even knew what that was.

RE - "The local cops conjectured that Mr Larsen had died from the cold, reported ONB News."

One should hear a lot before the ears fall off - "scaring"....:1zgarz5:

Uttaradit last 7 days, consistently low temps of 24C. Of course he's stripped down to his underpants, that's underpants weather. Maybe he left the aircon on turbo setting.

Uttardit weather last 7 days

Now I wait for a cop's conclusion: Inuit died from heat stroke at the same time in the same location.
