I've been back in the UK now since September 2006. I miss Bangkok every day. It hurts. I have tried so very hard to be positive about the UK and my friends here have been great but it seems even after 5 years the Thailand bug is still biting me very hard!

What is it you miss really about Bangkok?

BTW i miss Bangkok. Only for the cheap and great food plus friends. Thats all i miss about it. I dont want to live there again. But i did love my time there.

How come so many westeners have a hard time handling BKK? Even those presumably from big cities...

On the other hand I don't have any problem after almost 2 years, but then again I rarely spend any time in the absolute center of the city...

I miss Bangkok and I have not even been there!!! I know the second I set foot in Bangkok is the same second I'm home.

well,

i love bangkok city as i look past all the pollution and the madness on the roads.

the vitality and pace of the city is stimulating and one can find what ever turns one on.

i love its 24 hour a day chaos, availability of food, entertainment and music venue's.

people power is the name of the game and the diversity is brilliant.

the markets, shopping centres and public transport is never ending.

got to love bangkok as it is the centre of the world.

can fly to near by country's for nothing and as long as one does not get involved in funny business you will have no problem's.

give it a crack.

10 million visitors cant be wrong.

As far as Bangers goes, I miss “Kan”, but only from Monday to Wednesday, then back to “Kan” on Thursday till Monday morning and then back to Bangers.
