Clutch plates going in but thought I'd change the bearings while it's strip down.

You can buy a carb tool that turns through 90 degrees , to adjust mixture screws. Would one not work for the drain screws also. Dont forget to soak those clutch plates in oil overnight , before install.

Thanks for your help, the 29 year CBR superbike is old school so getting to most things is difficult.

Mixture screws are not are problem I have made a tool for them already.

The drain screws of the carbs are the problem can only get to 2 & 3 carbs,  1 & 4 are facing the outer frame so made the tool for that.

Riding my Duke at Khaw Mai Kaew today ,

noticed the side stand seemed loose,

so stopped the m/c shop out there.

Guy tightened things up using

some lock-thread papa carries.

He wanted to charge B20.

Rode back into town and the thing seemed loose again.

Had my shop on Klang 8/1 take care.

Gave guy 100.

///////

Also, on Lifan Cross 200

had my street-wheels removed and

knobbie-mounted-wheels installed.

Currently running 48T rear sprocket,

would like to find 52 or 54T.

Local scores all 'cannot.'

The center hole and bolt patterns are as:

Any ideas?

papa is not great at searches,

but √-ed above

& unable to locate a 52T or 54T

w/ that centre configgy.

Short of custom milling,

the parts-pro on Klang 8/1 prolly correct.

I've just googled 52 rear motocross sockets and many places to buy like on Lazada, eBay, they have 52 / 53 / 54 etc rear motocross sockets.

Make sure you put "motocross" in your search.

All the best K.

I see one on eBay.

Looks right but they don't call out the hole specs.

Have queried seller.

JTR269.52 ?

If it's motocross hole spec is usually universal,  the seller usually confirms if it's wrong .

I doubt it will be wrong if is you can sent it back. Give information to seller you have.

I think we have a winner.

There is a local shop near lake, Mapachan

named Bike Lane

maybe specialising in sprockets.

Will check there before ordering eBay.

regards should you change rear sprocket or engine sprocket - The latter is cheaper and you dont have to break the chain / remove links.....

Good you help well and respect KTM doing well in MotoGP now.

Just thought I'd mention it. ????

Considering the weird traffic on the roads, I decided to conduct a "little" modification which allows me to be airborne.

It's a 1100 cc Yamaha/Virago engine with 62 ponies. This plane really exists.

Yamaha sells purpose-built aircraft engines;

for bush planes, mostly.

From what I've read, they don't sell aircraft engines except for unmanned helicopters (for crop dusting).  People are using Yamaha snowmobile engines and adapting them.

People do all sorts of things with motorcycle engines I like the 2 Z1300 engines placed in a car like kinda semi straight 4 inline 8.

Or put a turbocharged Hayabusa engine in a Smart Car.  Nice sound.
