Gallbladder removal at Bkk/Pattay hospital

It seems I may have just had it removed in time. The doctor at Bkk/Pattaya said the gallbladder was already turning gangrenous. BTW, expensive as it is, I can't commend the level of treatment highly enough, by both doctors and staff, it was first class. I also got an upgrade to a suite instead of just the room, not that I got any real use out of it. A total of 3 days in hospital after the op, and then back to home, sweet home.

Good it is gone and you are on the mend.  So far I have lost cataracts, thyroid and bladder.  Time takes its toll.

Thanks for the update, I was thinking of you. Glad all went well.

Was it an open or laparoscopic procedure?

Laparoscopic. Op was performed by Dr Prawit who said if I'd delayed another couple of days things would have got serious.

Excellent news, well done.

Yes, it would have. May I ask what the whole thing codt?

BTW the pricrs mentioned early for go t hospitals would probably have been for open procedure. Laporoscopic always costs more.
