'Van driver Arun Sintoon, 25, and his passenger Chaichana Rompothong, 26, were stuck in the van and could not leave the vehicle without assistance.'

If the van driver was dead he would need assistance, wouldn't he?! And if the picture shows the impact point then that doesn't fit 'slab by the roadside' either.

My condolences to the family of the driver

How many more innocent people need to die, before the authorities understand that there is a real problem on the hazardous Thai roads, that cannot be tackled solely with demagogic statements ? ? ?

One blessing is that, for once there were no innocent tourists killed or injured.

Tourists are the only people to be concerned about?  Really?

He died in hospital so he did need assistance at the scene, didn't he?!

What story about seatbelts do the pictures tell?

I have no interest in pointing out the obvious to a poster whose main posting style seems to be asking inane questions about other people's contributions on a subject.

You remind me of someone.

I imagine that your real answer is that the photos do not tell any story at all.
