Trump administration admits man was deported to El Salvador mega prison due to 'error'
Let him come back to the USA and be detained indefinitely as he was denied bond. This is a case of play stupid games and win stupid prizes. El Salvador is his home and he claimed asylum because he is a gang member afraid of gang retaliation. Hey if he prefers to do his time in GITMO I won't object. -

Scammers Exploit Earthquake with Fake Donation Appeals
Picture courtesy of Siam Rath Following the recent earthquake in Thailand, authorities are warning the public to stay vigilant against scammers who exploit such disasters. The Central Investigation Bureau has alerted citizens to be cautious of fraudulent donation requests claiming to aid earthquake victims. The CIB advises that when you wish to donate to a foundation or organisation, you must thoroughly check the destination account beforehand. Fraudsters often use personal bank accounts or names unrelated to disaster relief. Please ensure legitimacy before transferring any money. This extra step can help prevent your donations from falling into the wrong hands. Based on a story by Siam Rath -- 2025-04-02 -

Earthquake Rocks Bangkok: Building Collapses with 40 people inside
I like reading the mystery death cases on AN. All the Sherlock Holmes and Columbo impersonators. Very funny, these guys are so serious. -

Internet on Samui
I am on 3BB in Bangrak and no problems here. It did go out about a week to ten days ago. I received a text message from 3BB that a cable was damaged in my area. Another text a few hours later that all was back to normal. On the whole, I am very happy with 3BB’s service. Pretty solid and consistant. Unlike my electricity supply. I did change a few settings in the router I am using (I have 3BB’s one in bridge mode) a few months ago due to Netflix buffering. Been OK since then. I’m wondering if you might have a faulty cable or loose connection somewhere.
