Police in Bangkok have made an arrest of a man selling cough mixture laced with "4x100" or krathom tea extract.

Tawatchai Prinram, 27, was arrested at Jade Mansion in Sukhumvit Road Soi 105 along with hundreds of bottles of cough syrup, krathom leaves and packaging.

He was contacting customers through Line then getting motorcycle taxi drivers to make the delivers for him.

The arrest led 191 cops, commandos and public nutrition authorities to the Suphawong Pharmacy in Sri Nakharin Soi 40 in Prawes where they arrested the owner Khomsan Angsirikun, 55 along with 400 bottles of cough syrup and krathom leaves.

The pharmacist was charged with possession of a Class 5 drug (krathom leaves) and offences related to the selling of medicine.

Tawatchai was charged over the selling of the product.

Confused: which one in the pic is 'the man selling cough mixture ... laced with krathom tea extract'? Can't be the guy in the pink shirt, even though he should be arrested for his bad fashion sense.

And was it 191 cops... :shock1:, or where they informed of the crime via the 191 police call?
