Night entertainment venues in Bangkok under check by police

 

 

Metropolitan police checked several entertainment venues in Makkasan area on Friday night (Dec 29) to make sure that they strictly abide by safety regulations and operate under the laws.

 

Checked by team of metropolitan and Makkasan police under the command of the Metropolitan Police Bureau deputy commissioner Pol Gen Panurat Lakboon included Onyx RCA discotheque on Rama 9 road.

 

The check on entertainment venue was aimed at seeking cooperation from all business operators to comply with all safety measures.

Perhaps they should operate within the laws!  I compare 'under the laws' to be similar to 'under the radar'.

 

Definition of under the radar

: not getting attention : unnoticed 

They have all year to check these establishments. Why do it in the Xmas Holiday week.

likely cash rather than checks

Were they really checking for safety norms or were they slalking to find some farangs to apprehend to submit pee tests and try to extort money ?

Because the bars make more money, like when the US Navy arrive in Phuket. There is more money to extort!
