rooster59 Posted January 6, 2018 Share Posted January 6, 2018 Naked woman found dead after fall at Pattaya condo - murder not ruled out Image: Sanook Police were called to the Cosy Beach View Condominium in Pratumnak early this morning after a security guard found a naked woman who had apparently fallen from the fifth floor of the building. The woman, who had been working as a beer bar girl on Soi 6, Pattaya 2nd Road., has been identified as 26 year old Wannipha Chanhuathon. Security guard Kriangsak, 23, said he was at the front gate when he heard a suspicious noise of something hitting the ground. He made the grisly discovery at 5am and called the authorities. The woman was still alive but soon died and was covered by a white sheet after foundation medics arrived at the scene and were unsuccessful in CPR efforts to revive her. Police said it could be an accident or murder. They believe she fell from Room 501. There was no one else there when they called, said Sanook. Meanwhile, Pattaya Daily News reported that police are looking for a foreign man who was last seen with the woman. Police also found used condoms in the room and evidence that the woman had sex with the man before she fell from the condo. Police are continuing their investigations before releasing the name of the wanted foreign man. I've noticed today that at least a couple of fatalities were reported as possibly murder or suicide. Perhaps they've finally figured out that they're better off waiting before they stake any face on one theory over the others. That's progress. No blaming the height of the low railings, not blaming the farang to be drunk or drugged to justify the fall ? No finger pointing that many farang people in Pattaya have mental health issues and once drunk, jump without parchutes from the 10th floor etc etc. One is tempted to consider that the Thai authorities just don't seem to care on the wellbeing of it's foreign guests ? Just walking ATm's, spend your cash then leave or jump ? RIP naturally to the poor girl and if it's a crime, hope the culprit, farang, or Thai, is caught and punished. She lay there, severely injured and in agonising pain, alive for many hours. If he had rendered assistance she may still be alive. What confounds this case is its contrariness, as a Thai girl has fallen and a farang male might have been involved somehow. Hence the exonerations have begun rather than the usual accusations.
