Suspected Taiwanese call centre gang leader nabbed by tourist police

Tourist police have arrested an alleged Taiwanese ring leader of a call centre scamming gang and two Taiwanese accomplices at the Suvarnabhumi international airport and at a coffee shop in Samut Prakan on Saturday.

 

The arrest of Mr Luo Lui-jia, the alleged ring leader, at the Suvarnabhumi international airport and Yoeng Choeng-lian and Liang Goen-pin at a coffee shop in Muang district of Samut Prakarn was announced on Sunday by Pol Maj-Gen Surachet Hakparn, deputy commissioner of Tourist Police Bureau.

 

One ATM card, two bank books, 30,000 baht in cash and cash withdrawn slips were confiscated Yoeng and Liang.
