Thian Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 25 years ago my ex-gf was a tourguide in Thailand for farang grouptours. They went to phi phi but one of them broke his leg while climbing the mountain. So that night she had to hire a longtailboat to bring them to mainland to a hospital, leaving the group alone on the island. It was very stressfull she told me...so now 25-30 years later they finally get an ambulanceboat (maybe).... Yes thailand needs more quality tourists, all is up to western standard which reflects the western prices.
