I should be grateful if anyone can recommend either a home visit electrician or a shop that can do small appliance repairs.  One of our water heaters is constantly throwing its trip switch and a rat has nibbled part of the internal wiring of our cooker hood disconnecting it from the power supply.

 

We did have a do all (well most anyway) handyman chap who was great but sadly we have lost him to Uber !

Recommend you replace your water heater, you don't want to be

messing about with those,water and electricity are a dangerous

combination,I had to replace 3 last year,water was leaking inside

and on to the electricals, if its tripping means either a wire burnt

or water leaking inside. don't use it !,
