Later this year my Thai family and I will be moving from Thailand to Indonesia for a new job. We would like to go to the UK at Christmas but I am not sure how I can apply for UK visas for Thai Nationals from Indonesia?

 

Can anyone help out with this or explain how I can apply for a UK visa from Indo? Would I need to fly to Bangkok to sort this out? My children will have Indonesian visas and I would like to apply for them maybe around August.

 

Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated.

If your children are legally resident in Indonesia, and from what you say they will be, then they can apply in Indonesia.

 

As a matter of interest what nationality are you and are the children yours?

Many thanks. I am British and they are my step children. I've taken them to the U.K. Before but we did that from Thailand. I was thinking it would be more complicated now we are going to be in Indo.

 

So I can use the website you provided and just submit the application with supporting documents?

Yes you can.
I only asked in case you were British and the kids were yours in case British passports were an option, a few people don’t consider all options.
