I must have pushed a button without meaning to and now the ' gives me the hash tag and the hash tag key gives me £, and I can't get the hash tag.

I've pushed all the function keys but nothing seems to work.

Using windows 10 on a Lenovo computer.

You have managed to switch your keyboard to UK English.

Can you not get the hash tag by pressing the backslash key (the one on the extreme right-hand side in the third row down on my keyboard at any rate), like I can do with the hash tag key set to display £?

It was indeed changed to UK English. Sorted now, but at least I learned how to be able to put £ in posts instead of writing quid all the time.
