Drug suspect on bail reports to court while high and carrying drugs

An Udon Thani man released on bail on drug charges was rearrested on Friday after he reported to court while high on meth and carrying drugs.

 

Satawat Thawaros, 20, was arrested by police at noon when he reported to Udon Thani Court as part of his condition for release on bail.

 

Court police found 48 meth pills, three small packets of marijuana, an M16 bullet and a shotgun shell.

 

Satawat was arrested early this year on charges of using drugs and then released on bail.

 

He admitted that he had been selling drugs since his release and resumed personal use, adding that he had taken two meth pills and forgot to get rid of the drugs before going to court.
