Win10 log out of Administrator, how?

I had to go into the Administrator, because of proxy/connectivity problems. Now I'm stuck.

The classic menu is installed, if that is relevant.

Unsure if I understand instructions.

A bit exotic but effective:

(of course other ways possible)

 

Click the <WIN> key (start menu opens).

Enter "logoff" without the quotes.

A single search result for logoff/execute command will be shown.

Click on it, done.

To round it up, this is the usual way with the startmenu:.

The yellow excl. mark is my icon for the admin account.

The picture shows that my normal account is also "signed in" at the time. Three accounts in total.

If (like me) you'd rather use the keyboard the classic three-fingered-salute (ctrl-alt-delete) will bring up a screen with some useful options, including Sign out and Switch user.
