They better get busy building new power stations.

What are you going to use the car for ? this will determine if it is feasible or not.

City driving back and forth to work ? Driving Hat Yai to Chiang Rai ?

I can't wait to be able to buy an electric bike.

The future is electric, just look at the R&D and massive commitments being put through now by the mainstream car manufacturers for battery technology.
Not my thing but you cant stop progress...

Hybrid cars are the future for sure, but I will avoid the 100% electric cars for now. There are still room for improvement and I don't want to be a paying guinea pig. Induction coil motor vs. solid magnet, battery chemistry, long levity, etc.

Anyway, the battery pack in 100% electric cars are always placed low in the chassis. It will be fun to see the first video of a Tesla boiling off while stuck in a flooded area of Bangkok.

I hope the latest R&D boffins have included the Kids n Grannies. In Scandinavia, leave em alone for 10 mins, come back and the Heater and  Kiddy Gizmoes leave you dead in the Snow.!! So far  the BMW is bloody useless exepty for short runs.!!.
