March 17, 20187 yr I get my INR tested at the Lifecare clinic near 3rd road, south of Pattaya Tai - 400 baht. What do you pay, here in Pattaya? Cheers
March 17, 20187 yr How fast you stop bleeding after that shaving nick. Seems those taking some blood thinners need to keep track. Google says: Prothrombin Time and International Normalized Ratio (PT/INR)
March 18, 20187 yr 400 THB, pretty standard charge here in Thailand Only cheaper option would be to do it yourself but unless you have US Medicare and a US address, self testing is pretty expensive
March 18, 20187 yr I bought a self tester, very easy to do at home, machine plus test strips and needles 31,000bht. when you run out of test strips and needles just under 4,000bht.for 24.

It will only take you approximately 3 and a half years to equal what twice monthly testing at Lifecare would cost. I hope you purchased the Roche Coaguchek machine since the Alere machine has been recalled by the FDA for inaccurate results If the OP wants to consider home INR testing I would suggest a visit to Ebay, where a Roche machine and test strips can be found for much less than $1,000 US as well as the test strips https://www.ebay.com/itm/Roche-PT-INR-CoaguChek-XS-Meter-Monitor-Test-Kit-INR-/183116263427 https://www.ebay.com/p/Roche-CoaguChek-XS-PT-Test-Strips-With-Code-Chip-48-ct-04625315-019/2255585322?iid=401438656009
