It is an exaggerated highlight of the territorial tensions that can arise during “sour ant” season along with the common jokes about this subject in everyday life. Combine that with my sweaty bald falang head spouting off in N. Thai dialect about my frustrations of people not respecting my “sour ant” territory. There’s a hand written sign that is written with Thai characters but Northern Thai words. There are a couple of nasty words transliterated into English. All combined it even made me laugh and I am very happy to see that it has brought smiles to many!
