Uniqlo, Japan’s casual wear store, is opening a roadside shop in Bangkok’s suburbs on Friday — the first of its kind in Southeast Asia.

The new store spreads over 1,440 sqm. land on Pattanakarn Soi 58, with a free shuttle to take customers to and from Airport Rail Link’s Huamark station. The store is equipped with a parking lot that can accommodate about 50-60 cars.

The reason for choosing the Pattanakarn community is that it is a huge residential area with 700,000 households, local media reported.
