Taxi's at Utapao

What are the transportation options/costs from Utapao to Garden Cliff Resort, apart from hotel taxi's at 2k pp?

2K to go to Pattaya. Its only down the road.  Can go from BKK to Pattaya for 1000 baht.

About 500 i would say and even that is a bit much.

So what are my options from Utapao, is there a taxi rank there, costs?
