Golf Lessons

Featured Replies

Can anyone personally recommend a good golf teacher or golf school in the area?
I have no golfing experience so would be starting as an absolute beginner.

Thanks

Nearly all driving ranges have at least one pro available to give lessons.

Mike at Pattaya Driving Range is excellent.

A real nice bloke and really patient and helpful.

The Golf Pros at Dianna Garden Resort (David Race) and Pattaya Driving Range (Mike McLaren) are PGA registered so at least they have a track record. There are other Golf "Pros" in Pattaya who aren't PGA registered and can only be considered to be "professionals" as in they charge money for lessons, as could anybody.

Andrew Scaife - head teaching pro at Phoenix Golf Course - so about 20 minutes out from Pattaya by car.

If you want his phone number send me a pm.

Or just check online...

30 minute lesson is enough, not too frequently, once a fortnight or month otherwise you can't work on the things they tell you. Of course they will try for weekly

I disagree, especially for a complete beginner, but that will also depend on the individual and what works for them.
