I was just wondering if probiotic tablets are available to buy in Bangkok. I am using them now to help with my gastritis so would appreciate if anyone knows.

I've seen ads for capsules for something called Probac. It's sold in Thai drugstores.

Thanks for the reply guys. Hopefully by the time I reach Bangkok in August, I won't need the probiotic tablets. At the moment I exercising a lot, massively reducing my sugar in take, minimal alcohol and varied diet which includes natural yogurt daily.

You might try kefir, too, to give you some different variety of probiotic. Also, naturally pickled items like raw sauerkraut and kosher style pickles. Not pickles made with vinegar.

If you are outside Thailand, you might be better off purchasing them before you come.  My buddy in BKK needed probiotic last year and I ordered (based on link/information provided by my friend) and shipped to my work address in Singapore and I hand-delivered to him in BKK.

There are definitely better quality probiotic pills available outside of thailand.

It's quality/choices along as well as price.  I find vitamins and supplements to be very expensive in SE Asia (compared to USA).
