Prayut to open boy scouts’ meeting in Pattani

UN voices concern after Thai authorities force Rohingya back to sea

THE UNITED NATIONS High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) yesterday voiced concern over the flight of 56 Rohingya boat people who landed in Thailand on Sunday and were pushed by Thai security authorities to again set sail onto the Andaman Sea with the hope of eventually landing in Malaysia.

Military denies bribery after video goes viral and police officers investigated

Russian coral bleaching female tourists sent home after court fine

Deadly California cliff car wreck possibly intentional - police

Police say the SUV that plunged off a Northern California cliff into the Pacific Ocean last week, killing a family of eight, may have been driven off the coastal highway intentionally. 

 

(Reuters) - A sports utility vehicle carrying a large, multiracial family from Washington state drove straight off a scenic cliff on the California coast last week, killing at least six people in what appears to have been an intentional crash, police said.
