Chiang Mai Sixes Day 5 Report

The Yorkshire Puddings secured a place in the semi finals after a convincing win over the Lords Taverners.

 

CityNews – Thursday saw 6 completions played out at the Gymkhana Club with 16 games in total. Highlights are as follows.

 

Day 5

 

In the cup competition favorites NCL Dynamites amassed the highest score of the competition so far, hitting 113-0 to defeat veteran side the Divine Felons, who made 52-1 in reply, with wicketkeeper Maruf hitting 32 off just 6 balls including 4 Sixes. St Francis again achieved victory by a large margin, chasing down 51 to defeat Bristol CC as Aaron Maynard struck 30 off 9 balls.

 

2017 Shield winners Margate CC (40-1) were knocked out in the group stage by NCL Masters (42-0), with the Yorkshire Puddings (79-3) beating the Lords Taverners (60-2) to secure a place in the semi finals.
