April 7, 20187 yr I don't know about the seasons but if you go up the mountain in Ban Taling Ngam to the Magic Garden there are loads of Durian farmers and i still see a lot some durians outside for sale there.

April 8, 20187 yr Been a very strange year for the durian harvest. Too rainy last year, and a terrible harvest with some trees dying of root rot (many of those trees were being pumped with lots and lots of chemicals). After the usual harvest season a few durian have kept coming into the local market, but of inconsistent quality. If the ones you see for sale are in a big pile, almost certainly from elsewhere......
