Durian fruiting on Samui?

I saw some Durian for sale, it isn’t season yet right?

 

Trees didn’t even have flowers that I saw up on the mountain.

I don't know about the seasons but if you go up the mountain in Ban Taling Ngam to the Magic Garden there are loads of Durian farmers and i still see a lot some durians outside for sale there.

was just up there today and didn’t see any flowering or fruits, saw some at tge market and on the side of the road...

guessing these are not samui durian

Durian harvest on Samui late August to November.

Been a very strange year for the durian harvest. Too rainy last year, and a terrible harvest with some trees dying of root rot (many of those trees were being pumped with lots and lots of chemicals). After the usual harvest season a few durian have kept coming into the local market, but of inconsistent quality. If the ones you see for sale are in a big pile, almost certainly from elsewhere......

yeh skipped durian this trip, a few years back loaded up the car at namtok hin laad very good price

Indeed, not the Durian season as of the moment.
