What is a good price for my iphone 6s

Featured Replies

I got an Iphone 6S 32 GB edition.  Still have box, good shape , no issues I just need a phone with more storage as I use it for a lot of videos and such

constantly have to remove files

Looking to upgrade my phone and thinking of selling this one.

1. Is there still a market for 6s?

2. What is a good price to ask?

Thanks

There are two levels of prices for used phones here: wholesale and retail. Wholesale is the price a shop might pay you for your phone, and retail is the price the same shop would sell that phone back to a customer. Retail is also close to the price you might get selling to a third-party via a direct sale. The spread varies but is probably 10-15%. I'd walk around almost any mall and look in one of the millions of counter shops to see what they're selling an iPhone 6S/32 GB for, to get a feel for the retail market. My best guess based on a quick look: wholesale: 5,000 - 10,000, retail: 10,000 - 15,000, with the range based on condition.

In MBK alone there must be a few hundred thousand used iPhones for sale.

The bulk of the local wholesale market for older iPhones is probably focused on refurbishment, and then shipment in bulk for resale in other countries.
