For those that enjoy German food then I highly recommend you try the German buffet at Anton's which is located in Naklua on the main road opposite Soi 18. Price B185.

I forgot to mention it is an evening feed starting at 18:00. Great selection of German food as well as a good selection of Thai dishes.

Pattaya is indeed an amazing town with so much good food going for a song. The main problem is deciding where to eat.

I'll be down there to check it out. Thanks for the tip.

excellent value for money, indeed! But did they crank up the price? I recall it being 165.-

Anyways, even at 185 hard to beat....any other contenders?

Thanks again for the tip Spaniel. I went in there with my lady at 6pm yesterday. We really enjoyed the food and they had a nice dessert lineup (for the price).

The German food is very high in fat, but very tasty...it was like home cooking. If I ate there too often I'd gain a lot of weight for sure...there wasn't a dish I tried that wasn't good....so I ate far too much.

I'm not sure if he's the owner, or just the head chef, but a German guy was right on the ball making sure the bain marie was always topped up.

The place was busy by 6:30 pm. It starts around 5:30.

The presentation is a little ordinary and the restaurant is definitely not pretty, but don't let that stand in the way of giving this food a try.
