Flying in two times

Featured Replies

Hi

I ended my work permit mid January and got 2 months tourist visa afterwards in Vientiane. Left the country after this in March and came back after 3 weeks and got

my 30 days. Will I have a problem getting another 30 days if I fly out and come back the day after.  Finally can I after this get 7 days at Chaeng Wattana.

Thanks in advance.

Depending on your nationality you can get your current 30-day permission to stay extended by 30 days.

Whether you can get a second visa-exempt entry will depend on the immigration official dealing with you upon your arrival. If you do get it, you can again apply for a 30-day extension.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

If you just need one more visa exempt entry (30 days) plus a 30-day extension, I would recommend you do a border bounce rather than flying out and back in. If you are planning to stay longer than that with tourist entries, avoid using visa exempt entries except in an emergency and go for actual tourist visas. While the odds would be in your favor, entering visa exempt through the Bangkok airports is a risk except for short term tourists.
